Personal Edition installation and use
Follow the instructions below to install and use the personal edition of ReplyToSome. If you have any further questions, please email us at info@replytosome.com.
Installation
System Requirements
In order to install ReplyToSome, you will need a computer running Windows, with Outlook installed. ReplyToSome supports Outlook versions 2007, 2010, 2013, and 2016.
Downloading and Running the Installer
To start downloading ReplyToSome, click the link included in your invitation email. If you did not receive and email, please contact info@replytosome.com to request one.
When you click this link, you will begin downloading a zip file, which contains a pdf copy of our Quick Reference Guide and a *.exe file. Extract the files and run the *.exe to complete the installation. Depending on your Windows, antivirus, and firewall settings, you might be prompted to confirm that you wish to continue with the download. Please click “OK” or the equivalent on each prompt.
Running ReplyToSome for the First Time
Once ReplyToSome is installed, you can restart Outlook. If you are using more than one email account in Outlook, you might be prompted to choose one as your "primary" account. Selecting your primary account will determine which email addresses are labeled "insiders" and "outsiders" by default. It will also determine when the SendCheck setting "Email sent with account other than primary email account" is triggered. We recommend selecting your professional address as your default address. You can change your primary email at any time by clicking on the "Settings" icon and selecting "Change primary email."
The first time you run ReplyToSome, a "Getting Started" guide will appear. This guide outlines the basic features of ReplyToSome. If you wish to view the Getting Started guide again in the future, click the "Help" icon and select "Getting Started."
Each time you open Outlook with ReplyToSome installed, you might notice a small rectangular image with the word “Initializing” in the upper right-hand corner of your screen after starting Outlook. This indicates that ReplyToSome is initializing. The amount of time that initialization takes will depend on how many distribution lists you already have saved in Outlook. You can continue to use Outlook as usual while ReplyToSome is initializing. Once ReplyToSome has completed initialization, the ReplyToSome user interface will automatically open in any email that you have opened.

Analytics and Privacy
ReplyToSome Personal Version will automatically record whenever an error in its code (called an “exception”) occurs and immediately transmit a message about the error to ReplyToSome’s remote online database. Whenever you end a session of Outlook, ReplyToSome will transmit certain user data to our database. This data includes your primary email address and a count of the number of times you used certain features of ReplyToSome. Additionally, it includes certain information about emails you receive and send, such as the number of recipients and number of attachments. ReplyToSome does not record the identities of any recipients, the body or subjects of your email, or the contents or type of any attachments. We will maintain the confidentiality of any individually identifiable information we receive from you (including your name and email address) and will not sell any such information to third parties, though we may share or publicize aggregate information (e.g., “11% of the emails sent by our users include attachments”). This data will help us improve ReplyToSome and respond to the needs of our users. Our storage and use of this information, as well as your option to request a copy of the information or that we delete it, is set out in our privacy policy.
